Hostal Valencia - private room with bathroom

So I was in the entrance and trying to reach the receptionist and after 15 times of try there was no answer.

The host was incredibly welcoming, even though didn’t speak the same language she made us feel so comfortable and brought us delicious tea. The rooftop terrace was amazing, we spent a lot of time up there. The location was in the best part of town as well! I also loved the cat, he was evil but cute

The room was not ready at 4.30 pm and he didn't let me go outside while the preparation No hot water The host (old man) touched my body Intorerable so I left the property

Hostal Valencia is in the heart of Chefchaouen, not only is the location amazing but the utilities, room, and bathroom are all extremely clean and enjoyable. On top of an amazing stay, the staff and owner are always eager to help and beyond hospitable. The owner especially is always willing to give travel advice and free tea and water, he's clearly an extremely kind man who isn't caught up in making money and more focused on meeting and learning new people. If you're going to Chefchaouen I strongly recommend staying here!

Amazing amazing place! I actually did not plan to stay here, I happened to be in Chefchaouen on a bus day trip to Fes and contracted food poisoning and starting feeling it only once I arrived to town. Once i got to town I could not walk and was puking and feeling very nauseous. I needed to find a bed fast so I walked to the closest hostel and asked if I could use a bed for emergency and they agreed! They helped nurse me back to health, offered me my own room and blanket and insisted that I didn’t pay them! I ended up booking a room on booking because I wanted to pay them for the room. They made me rice porridge for my stomach, and even let me rest in bed while they went to the pharmacy and got me medication. I stayed there until it was time for the bus to pick me up and they walked me over to the bus. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. It was also clean. The next time I come, I definitely will stay at this hostel, not just for the high quality of the room, but also for the amazing hospitality. In my entire time in Morocco, this was the most I’ve felt taken care of and the owners and staff and honest and will treat you like you’re their own family. I highly highly recommend it, even though I was so sick, it became a highlight of my trip just to be able to witness and kindness and compassion of the owners! Thank you very much!

I am so glad I stayed here! The owner, Mehdi, means it when he says he wants his guests to feel like family. He made sure I felt safe at his hotel (I'm a woman travelling alone), introduced me to his friends, and showed me around. The location cannot get any better, as it I'd right in the center of the old Medina part of Chefchaouen. It's just a short walk to the main square. The room was spacious and very comfortable, at an incredibly reasonable price. Why book a more expensive room elsewhere for a smaller room? The choice is obvious to me.

The bath tap was really nice, although you need to fill jacuzzi in two times if you wanna take warm/hot water bath. Location was perfect and the staff SUPER friendly and helpful. Hazam not only welcome us in the best way but also gave us good recommendations for food and tips about Chaouen. Definitely recommended, it is like the pictures.

Really just that little thing about the water if I have to point out something

The place has a good location, a nice balcony with a nice vew. The communication with the hostel was a litte bit complicated and 5 minuts before the check out time they go to the room asking to leave the room. The staff were nice, specially mister Hamza that made our trip more interesting with some sugestion for place to visit and to eat. I definitely would stay again at this place.
