Dar KHALID

What struck me the most was the warm friendliness of the hosts. I felt like a welcome guest. They were also flexible and trustworthy. Our flight to Marrakech arrived many hours late, after dark (when we were supposed to have arrived in the morning) and on short notice I reached out to the host to ask how best to get to the Dar since I didn't want to wander the medina after dark, with luggage. They quickly arranged for a car and driver to pick us up, drive us to the nearest car access point, and walked us directly to the Dar, pushing our luggage in a cart so we didn't have to drag it over cobblestones (for a fee, of course). During our stay, I accidentally left my wallet behind in the public space and didn't notice it missing; one of the staff came to my room to give it back to me. The Dar is smack in the middle of the medina, in short walking distance of major sites. It iself is off on a side street, away from the busy road of the medina. The surrounding area is quiet and residential. But a very short walk and you're in the heart of the bustle. And the building itself is absolutely lovely, with lots of character.

The private bathroom for the Twin Room (3 twin beds) is across the terrace. It doesn't generally rain much in Marrakech. But when it does, shallow puddles develop on the terrace floor. Bring waterproof flip flops/sandals/shoes to go back and forth between the Twin room and its bathroom. Also, the door to the bathroom doesn't fully close when it's rainy out.

Koupelna bez dveří a stropu součástí pokoje. Nediskrétní. Ale dá se to přežít.

Deux hôtes adorables, extrêmement gentil et très arrangeant. Aux petits soins pour les voyageurs. Le Riad est très jolie, super rooftop et très bon petit déjeuner Je recommande vivement !

Estadia 5 estrelas 😊 família que toma conta do dar khalid é muito simpática e disponível. Com certeza a remarcar quando voltar a Marraquexe ! Alojamento dentro da Medina, perto de restaurantes e dos pontos principais turísticos.
