David was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood and it’s within walking distance of some pretty good food and some beaches. You’ll need transportation to a lot of the touristy stuff but it’s not so bad. Just try to get there during less busy traffic hours as current roadwork can turn a 20 min ride into a 40 min ride.

Nothing really. There are some ants that might pay you a visit but they weren’t a bother.

The location is near an area where there is a lot of food. I recommend the Oxxo coffee. There is a bakery next to the Oxxo. Just be prepared to drive a truck or an SUV because the roads are uneven. Also the water for the shower is salty, but it is still okay. Great prize for your buck!

Breakfast not included; only mentioning as that was question posed here, but was invited for lunch or dinner often; and not only was the food delicious; the company was excellent. A great Family runs this place. Description of place makes you feel you are closer to the water; which you are; but if you are without car, takes some hoofing on poor streets to get there. Once you learn the lay of the land, there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby and Dave is always happy to drive you somewhere at a small fee when he has the time. Roads are dirty and bumpy around the house; so if you walk at night, be careful. There is public transportation at the end of the street that will take you to Centro; but never tried it; if you do; make sure you know how to get the bus back. Do not always listen to other reviews; though they all do say how nice the Family is and how good of a cook Dave's wife is; she has a beautiful name I can never remember. Once guy said potable water here; well; not really; but he gets you an inexpensive option. Another complains about a sewer stench; Dave has gone out of his way to fix, and truly no more. Room is comfortable. Small fridge. I wish a small kitchen; one cannot get everything they want. Sink area too small which makes shaving a pain. That being said, the good far outweighs the bad here. Love the Family and solitude here as I write. I will be back in less than a month. Ideal place to get work done!
