Pi Thea was an amazing host by offering us a jungle trekking on short notice, equipment and some excellent recommendations for dinner in town when we arrived from the trekking. Had a fantastic trip!

If you want to explore the nature in ratanakiri, you can just come and the owner will help you build the perfect trip! We went to a day in the waterfalls and a lake, and 2 days trekking in the jungle. He will help you with everything, and his wife cooks excellent breakfasts. We had a great time.

The owner is very helpful, he let me use the scooter to go to the city center and did everything possible so I could get the cap I forgot back. Very good stay at the guesthouse !

Puthea is an amazing host. Not only is the homestay of his family wonderful, in nature of Banlung, the food cooked by his wife delicious, but he truly goes the extra mile for his guests. There are bikes and motorbikes to rent. And the two day trekking is so worth it with two local guides, sleeping in hammacks overnight. I only stayed two nights but I wished I had more time to enjoy the homestay. Thank you Puthea and your family for your hospitality! It was wonderful to hear your stories over dinner!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the family Homestay. The host was wonderful, helpful and responsive. He helped us to organise an amazing jungle trek and kindly lent us equipment (bag, trekking shoes) at no extra cost. Breakfast is available each morning for a small fee and was good value, fresh and plentiful. The family are very kind and generous e we’re happy we booked this Homestay. The surrounding countryside and views are beautiful. The hosts can also help to book onward transfers easily. 10/10 recommend staying here !

There are more mosquitos than we have experienced in other areas of Cambodia however this is not the fault of the Homestay but more the area and season. Just bring lots of mosquito repellant. There is a net in the rooms.

The home was quiet and surrounded by lush green plants with a great view overlooking the village. An easy walk to the downtown. While there the family was incredibly helpful, kind and caring. They provided information about trekking, buses, local tips and more. Very genuine people and would highly recommend staying here while in Banlung.
