The room is very nice and clean, but terrible experience.

Unfortunately it's too hot to manage to sleep or even stay in the room and air conditioning is not available. I had never had this problem in all Sri Lanka. I had to open the windows and door but of course mosquitoes came into the room. They could even get into the bed mosquito net, maybe through some holes, so I've been bitten all night. There aren't blinds and in the early morning the room is very light. It's also close to the main road so it's noisy. I basically couldn't sleep. I also had chosen this accomodation because breakfast was supposed to be available but when I asked for it they told me it wasn't available. The next day I asked if I could have a discount on a possible second night because of the discomfort (the property was empty and I told them it was difficult for me to move to another accomodation on that day in time for the check out) but the owner looked particularly offended, he ordered me to remove my stuff immediately and hung up the phone rudely. He also sent me rude intimidating text messages. I really couldn't understand the need of all this rudeness and lack of understanding of their disservice.

Very clean room and bathroom. Very nice owner and family! 5 min walk to the beach and a very nice balcony!

We knew when we booked it, but it would have been nice to have AC in the room as it was really hot!

I like location, near bus station, mini-shop, beach and cafe Thailand kitchen. Cute owner and villa. Very clear.
