"Not that good"

I like how staff was being helpful & the room including the bed.

Washroom is not good. They had no shower but a hand shower. Had to blindfold due to privacy Bedsheets are dark blue yet dirty. AC is not enough Strange noises during night.

Athy et sa famille ont été très gentils et nous ont souvent prêté leur cuisine . L'endroit est tranquille et charmant mais un peu excentré pour se rendre en ville à pieds .

Nos hôtes très sympathiques, discrets mais toujours prêts à rendre service. De belles rencontres pour nos premiers jours au Sri Lanka. Et la région de Jaffna vaut le détour, très différente et riche d’histoire. La fête de Nallur était incroyable. Cours de cuisine chez Malabar home stay au top! "Pleasant"

After reading all the raving reviews we booked for three nights - and left after one. The welcome was luke-warm, we had to pay upon arrival - rare in Sri Lanka - the food was very mediocre - dossas and dal - and the room was bland and windowless. Bad vibes. So we left early the next morning - without breakfast.

Quiet location. Outdoor bathroom. Comfortable room. Very friendly helpful owner. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. This Homestay is great value for money.
