オーナーの方々が本当に優しかったです。ブッキングの段階で、こちら側のミスで宿泊日程を間違えてしまったのですが、快く再予約の手続きをしてくださいました。着いてからも、プランの相談に乗ってくださり、追加料金を支払えば、そのままシギリヤロックをはじめとする、様々な観光地に送迎もしてくださいました。湖など、知らない場所にもたくさん連れて行ってくれました。充実したステイでした。次にきたらもっと滞在してね、と最後に言ってもらったり、シギリヤにおける、第二の家みたいに感じられました。

The accommodation comprised a cute bungalow in a garden/jungle setting but only 5 minutes walk from Sigiriya village. A lovely chilled vibe... The room was clean and the bed comfortable with mosquito net, basic bathroom but with decent shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room.and the WiFi was fine. Breakfast was Sri Lankan - plenty of food and fruit. Breakfast was outside on the patio of the owners house next door. Very nice. There is seating outside the bungalow with outside light. We bought a mosquito coil from a local shop which worked really well The property is surrounded by restaurants - we went to all 4 of the closest, the Hot Food restaurant next door is owned by the same family. The host family were a lovely couple, Medu and Nishanti. Always on hand to help, service with a smile every day. And they will organise/Medu will take you to all local sights and even further e.g. to the wonderful caves of Dambulla (Medu has a tuk-tuk and a car) and Polonnaruwa. He can organise a safari too. Would definitely recommend this host.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gelegen mit Gartenblick und einer sehr netten Gastgeberfamilie - wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt!

The family couldn’t do enough for you. The were wonderful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Good air con or fan your choice which to use. The families restaurant, next door, had excellent food. They organised an excellent tour at a very good price and also a taxi to our next destination.

Large, comfortable room and huge bed with both air conditioning and a fan, plus en-suite bathroom. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the main Sigiriya 'town' and plenty of shops/eateries. Also walkable to both the main entrance and exit of Sigiriya site within about 30 minutes. Nice detail of a kettle and tea/coffee for when I arrived. The included breakfast was delicious is served in the host's actual home which is a separate building from the accommodation but very close. Host very responsive via Whatsapp and arranged a tuktuk for me at a competitive price for a morning climb to Pidurangala.

I did not have hot water in my shower for the duration of my two night stay, and host did not rush to fix it. Not the worst thing as the climate is very humid but I was expecting hot water.
