Lochalsh View, Kyle, 1 Mile to Skye

Location was perfect for our visit to Skye

Friendly landlord provided us with all information we need before arrival. Room had superior sea view and good location (3min walk to supermarket). Large and clean bathroom.

Not very good soundproof, and we were a bit disturbed by guests in Room 1. Room was so small that I could barely open my suitcase.

Only stayed 1 night but can honestly say if we were ever in Kyle we would not hesitate to stay here again. Glenn responded promptly to our queries and was extremely helpful, allowing us to leave our bags at the house after checkout. (Thank you). Shared facilities were not an issue. Lots of useful information and plenty of little extras provided for a comfortable stay in an excellent location.

The host was very kind and helpful and there was a great view over the loch. Though we shared a bathroom, it was very clean and it wasn't a problem

Friendly host and showed us around/explained how to use the facilities.

There was noise from nearby rooms in the form of chat that lasted until 6 a.m. We could hear a chat that distracted our sleep after a very long day of driving. Were it not for that, the score would have been higher. I'm not sure where the chatter came from; perhaps the walls don't block sound out enough.

Great location with lovely views. Very clean and modern facilities. We shared the bathroom which was absolutely fine. Very clean, fresh and comfortable.

Room was a little small, but totally adequate for us on an overnight stay.

Glen the owner has created a fantasies place with everything you need. The location is perfect, just 5 mins walk from railway station and town. The view from the bedroom window overlooking the kyles was stunning. Will definitely be top of our list when we visit the area again. It would be a perfect base to explore Skye.

The idea of sharing a bathroom is a little uncomfortable, but was no problem during our stay.
