Sigiriya River Side Resort

A lovely place to stay, the staff are all very accommodating and welcoming. The pool is a lovely way to cool off after a hike.

Доброжелательный персонал, неплохие завтраки, москитные сетки на кроватях, бассейн чистый и тёплый, недалеко от горы Сигирия. Пешком можно дойти до ресторанов и кафе. Милый щенок на территории, который не пускал чужих собак) По приемлемой цене отвозят до локаций на тук-туке. Отель рекомендуем.

Муравьи в номере, кто-то покусал ребенка в первую ночь, потом всё нормально было.

The people were extremely friendly and helpful. And to pool with bar/restuarant made it a great place to relax at the end of the day. Ashen and Oolu are wonderful hosts.

Wir hatten das tolle Stelzenhaus mit 5 Betten in der Nähe des Pools. Wir haben super geschlafen, sehr lecker gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen und die Besitzer haben uns nette Tips gegeben und waren auch sonst sehr nett. Waren auf Lions Rock und haben danach gefrühstückt, das war ein guter Plan. Der Pool war auch super. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Es ist von den Restaurants unten am See doch ein ganzes Stück zu laufen (es gibt aber auch Tuktuk), aber es ist möglich.

Would absolutely recommend! The hosts were so welcoming & the surroundings are beautiful - you feel like you're in the jungle. The rooms are basic, but everything you need & great value for money. We loved the breakfasts!

Lovely hosts, swimming pool, lovely restaurant nearby and very clean. Very helpful family members who provided transport and a guided tour.

We stayed for 2 nights and we loved every minute. The room was great and the bed was comfy (we stayed in the bungalow/cabana). The staff were friendly and so so helpful. Ashen offered to drive us around for the time we were in Sigiriya and we had a really great time with him. His wife Oolu was also super lovely and made us our delicious breakfast both days. The pool area was great for relaxing in also. The guest house is able to provide a tuktuk driver and also transfers (Oolu’s dad, the owner, drove us to Ella). All of this for a really reasonable price!

We just wish we could stay for longer!

Giardino splendido, piscina comoda e con bar annesso, colazione abbondante e sempre diversa, insomma: un soggiorno memorabile. La famiglia è inoltre d'aiuto per tutte le domande su come sia meglio raggiungere i luoghi di interesse e offre prezzi veramente vantaggiosi per l'organizzazione di escursioni o di taxi privato. Ancora grazie per il meraviglioso soggiorno!
