White House Udawalawe

Sheran was an amazing host, tour guide and all around great person. This is my second time coming, having been 7 years ago. Was brilliant to come back. Sheran offers the best safari in Sri Lanka and showed us lots of great local food spots. The house itself was so clean - Sheran and his family were so welcoming. We slept very well.

Sheeran and his family are very friendly. The food was really good. The safari was very nice, sheeran has a very good knowledge of the wild life. He will help you to spot many animals. He imitates peacock like no one else.🤣. I recommand.

Sheran provided exceptional hospitality despite this last-minute booking (literally 10 minutes before my arrival)! He was attentive and present, and having him as a guide for my morning safari in the park was wonderful! The room was very spacious, perfect for a family, and the breakfast prepared by his mother was delicious. I highly recommend and will gladly return for another stay!

Sheran and his family are really kind and welcoming and I had a lovely time here! It's really comfortable and I even had tea making facilities in my room which was the first time in Sri Lanka and was a really nice touch. The room was lovely. The safari was wonderful and I also walked to the elephant transit centre for baby elephant feeding time. Very close to the guesthouse. A lovely start with delicious food too!

Not too far nor too close to the natural park main entrance. Sheran and his family provided us a warm welcoming to his family house. They also prepared drinks.and diner early so we can get ready to sleep quickly for the tomorrow safari. The rooms were good with all the facilities (shelves, power adaptors,...). Almost no noise by night pure silence !!! Dinner prepared by his mother was delicious they even provided some beers

The bathroom system is quite old fashion. There are mosquitoes so beware.

Sheran is incredible. He is nice and tells a lot of funny stories. We payed 55€ for the safari with him.

The place is very clean, rooms are nice. Furthermore there is a nice garden where you can chill out. Owner is very friendly and speaks English very well, thus, I recommend going on safari with him 🐘🦚🦅 The WiFi was great what is rare in Sri Lanka 😀 Breakfast was also tasty too.

Nothing, everything was great

I stayed here for 2 nights and it’s a nice homestay! Sheran, the host, also organises the safari, which makes it very easy to discover udawalawe. He knows a lot about the surrounding and the animals. I went on a half day safari and after that he brought me to the orphanage for baby elephants. I also eat one night at the homestay and the mother of sheran cooked an amazing dinner. I had a great time here!
