Monkeys jupmed on our roof and made a big noise, but that was just about an hour. Not so close to the beach as we thougt

The location is perfect. So close to goyambokka beach which is stunning. A 5 minute 12 pence bus ride takes you to tangalle for supermarkets and the bus station. The room has a fridge and a kettle. It’s clean and big. The owners son is delightful and so helpful

Very lovely bungalows with their own terraces in a beautiful garden. The hosts are very discrete, so the whole place feels very quiet and serene. The place is right next to the beach. No AC in the rooms but I found that the fan was enough. Also possibility to have hot water showers which is a plus as not everywhere in Sri Lanka offers it. I highly recommend having dinner there, it was one of the best curries I had in home stays in Sri Lanka!

The place was exceptional.The location was just 5 minutes walk to the Goyambokka beach.And also you can go to the Silent Beach.Two of them are so beautiful.The place was calm,quite with a tranquil garden.The bungalow includes a comfortable bed,mosquito net,fan,refrigerator,electric kettle,hair dryer and a super pressure hot water( normally rare in homestays in Srilanka) in the bathroom.The room and bathroom was very nice and clean.Nice welcome from the host family. You can enjoy the garden with squirrels,birds,iguana,peacocks and coconut trees,flowers.The breakfast was amazing.Changing breakfast day by day western and Srilankan rothi,hoppers,string hoppers,specially pancakes.We loved it. Also you can ask for the dinner.Definitely you'll try rice & curry and seafood portions.The prices are reasonable and huge portions.The host family was amazing and they always help you. From there you can visit some near by places mulikirigala rock temple,dikwella beach,big buddha,blow hole... You can arrange your trips by discussing with hosts.They'll definitely support you.This place is great value for money.We stayed there for a week.We'll definitely come again.

My stay was great , the family were amazing, they were there for anything you needed . The breakfast was delicious, dinner too. The room was big , clean , fan , internet. Comfortable bed , mosquito net , kettle, fridge. The garden was beautiful with birds , peacocks , squirrels, monkeys. I will certainly stay here again.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow in the room , but ok out on the veranda.
