Canning 33

The house has a number of guest rooms which are well appointed. I liked the london decor in my room given that I am english - showed a sense of humour which I appreciated. The bed was comfy and the aircon was good, as was the shower. When I had any questions the owner was on hand to quickly answer them which I was glad for. The communal rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. There is a very well equipped kitchen and outside space to sit if like me you are a sun worshipper. Grab was easy to get into Town and there are some really good restaurants within walking distance of the guesthouse. Try the canning dim sum - I ate until I thought I would go pop.

Location was excellent, nice clean single room with bathroom attached. Fan and AC work wonderfully, I enjoyed the common space/kitchen area as well. Ipoh is unfortunately not very walkable but there are plenty of Grab cabs. The park nearby is really quite nice and something I would recommend visiting in the morning.

Love everything about the place! It’s like going back home to another house.

We have stayed at Canning 33 many times when travelling to the North. A very good homestay, clean and tidy. Location is convenient and quiet, we like it Benny is very accommodating and will let us check in early if the room is ready..

Clean comfortable silent environment. Nice staff...clear instruction The bed is so comfortable and lovely.

The place is very clean and homely, and Benny is very helpful with sending recommendations of places to visit. It's worth every penny and more.
