Eeshani Guest Inn

A guesthouse where memories check in with you. We stayed at Eeshani Guest Inn for 2 nights and left with hearts fuller than our suitcases. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and wonderfully comfortable—everything you want after a long travel day. But what truly made it special was the family. Neil went out of his way to help us with everything we needed—always with a smile. We spent hours playing cards and board games with his son Aruth, who quickly became our little buddy. So many laughs, shared jokes, and joyful chaos—memories we’ll always treasure. And then there's Neil’s mother—a soul so warm, wise, and comforting, it felt like being wrapped in sunshine. Her energy is the kind that stays with you long after you leave. If you’re looking for more than just a stay—if you’re looking for connection, kindness, and genuine warmth—Eeshani Guest Inn is the place. We didn’t just feel welcomed. We felt like family.

Séjour parfait ! À deux pas de la gare, proche du centre d’Ella tout en étant au calme dans le jolie jardin de la maison. La chambre était très propre avec de l’eau chaude ! Mention spéciale pour notre hôte qui est d’une gentille incroyable, de bons conseils, bienveillant. Ils proposent un service de taxi, laundry, petit déjeuné (très bon!) et donnent de très bons conseils de visite ! En plus d’être très bien, c’est aussi une belle rencontre ! Si nous revenons au Sri Lanka nous reviendrons ici avec certitude ! Encore merci !!

My favourite place throughout my Sri Lanka trip! I loved the house, the location, the hosts, the garden. It is basic, but absolutely great for the price. Only 5 minutes from the train station and the centre, but quiet and relaxing. Also great location for trips to the Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Rock and others. Tip: Ask Deev to tell you about the monastery and meditation. If he has time he’ll go there with you.

Es war eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastfamilie ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen Garten und ist gut ausgestattet. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Neil was the best host, we felt so at home and didn’t want to leave. Everything was perfect, it was such a special experience to stay here. We will defo be returning one day❤️

Chambre très petite et assez humide. Très bruyant du l’isolation, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans l’hôtel tard le soir et tôt le matin.

La maison et le jardin sont magnifiques. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et nous ont donné beaucoup de renseignements.

A lovely homestay a few minutes walk from downtown Ella. Idea location away from the street noise of Ella. Neil and he's family were helpful and informative. Always ready to assist and offer travel ideas. The room is a little compact, but great for our 3 night stay
