Forest Paddy Homestay

Die Lage ist super. Nah am Bahnhof, nah an der Stadt und trotzdem ruhig und im Grünen gelegen. Wir haben vom Balkon einen Affen gesehen, Vögel und Glühwürmchen beobachtet und viel Gequake gehört. Die Familie ist sehr nett, freundlich und sehr bemüht. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Tee.

Leider hat das Zimmer sehr nach Schimmel gerochen, das Bad zusätzlich nach Abfluss. Die Toilette war undicht und bei dem starken Regen, den wir leider hatten, kam Wasser aus den Wänden.

Gospodarze bardzo mili i pomocni.Łózko w pokoju z moskitierą bardzo wygodne.Pokój z wyjściem na taras z pięknym widokiem. Na tarasie było serwowane śniadanie,tradycyjne dania lankijskie,obfite i smaczne.

Dojście do domu trochę utrudnione,podejście dosyć strome.

Very nice place near the city, yet sourrounded by nature with a great view into the jungle. Breakfast was huge and the host is very nice.

Mise en garde pour les personnes qui marchent avec difficulté, le chemin d'accès 100m peut poser problème.

Das Zimmer ist schön & vor allem das Bett sehr gemütlich. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Laundry Service hat sehr gut geklappt und auch das Frühstück war lecker, auch wenn es zweimal das gleiche war. Der Sohn hat uns morgens zum Sonnenaufgang mit dem TukTuk zum Little Adams Peak gefahren!! Die Lage ist super weil man nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum braucht und mitten in der Natur ist

Das Bad riecht muffig und der Boden ist immer etwas feucht... nachts hört man relativ laut die Kröten & Grillen vor dem Haus, was uns aber kaum gestört hat

Easy walk from train station, we received a very kind welcome upon arrival with a pot of tea and biscuits. Rooms were specious, beds were comfortable and showers were hot. Rooms had small table out front to enjoy the green view.

Although we asked for breakfast, the son directed us into town.

Lokalizacja jakby w lesie, ale dość blisko dworca i centrum. Samo dojście do apartamentu dość strome. Pokoje niezbyt duże, ale rozmiar wystarczający. Do pokoju przynależy balkon z pięknym widokiem. Śniadanie smaczne. Gospodarze mili i serdeczni.

Hosts were nice and helpful, always say hello when you go past. They also have a scooter you can rent for 2,500 a day (standard price). The area is quite secluded so it’s safe and quiet. It’s off the main road and down a path into its own bit of land. There’s a balcony where each room has seating. Shower had hot water.

The bathroom had a terrible smell of drains and the room was damp for the whole stay. We tried to open the doors/windows to ventilate it but it never got better. Every morning we woke up to moisture on the windows. We spoke to another couple there who said the same about their room. This also made the bedsheets and any clothes feel constantly damp and didn’t feel healthy to stay. We left a day earlier than planned (partly because we saw everything in Ella and partly because of the damp/smell) but the host did give us a half night discount. Also sheets had stains on them and WiFi was good enough to receive messages but not to send messages or load anything.
