The perfect getaway for two in a large suite

So lovely to be able to walk out the back gate and be right on the Victoria Lake walkway - lovely double shower - continental breakfast supplied.

Sadly the bed sagged to the middle of the mattress.

Great location and friendly family. We really liked being able to go out the back gate and walk around Lake Virginia

Friendly and welcoming host. Room had everything we needed. Looks just like the photos. Good breakfast supplied. Clear instructions.

An extra blanket would have been helpful. Small amount of noise from family living upstairs, but this did not disturb us at all.

Comfortable and well presented for a good night sleep.

Wondeddul communication and the Host came out to greet me and took me to the suite and gave me a little tour. Bed was really comfortable and lovely bedding.. Bathroom was lovely and clean and a wonderful double walk in shower. Room had a buffett table with breakfast cereals and spreads for toast - the peanut butter was delicious. Location is about 5 minutes from town and in a lovely quiet neighborhood

Fantastic accommodation and location: separate lodgings with a private entrance in a home giving access to lovely Virginia Lake. The suite is spacious and everything surpassed our expectations, from the layout-access (although the suite is part of a home, it is totally private) and the quality of furnishings/linen/spaciousness, etc. Alka is a lovely host, facilitating easy check-in and (late) check-out and ensuring that we had everything we needed for breakfast and a comfortable stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return here should we back in the Whanganui and thoroughly recommend it to any visitors to the city.

There is nothing not to like.
