Stunning views, comfy beds. Helen is a great cook and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. It was lovely to share the house with a local for a night. Great stopover. Would come back.

Amazing host and views!

Unique location, incredible views and welcoming host

Tremendous view from the living room and bedroom. this accommodation was not what I was expecting - I was expecting a sort of motel but this is a B&B house. I was much better than what I was expecting. The view is simply amazing. the Owner actually lives in this property, it is very comfortable, clean and warm and I was made to feel very welcome - An absolutely lovely place to stay

Nothing to complain about

Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀

The toilet is a composting toilet and requires a bit of aim, so if you're not used to those or comfortable with it, just FYI.
