The host Maria was very nice and welcoming. The room was clean, and the area was very nice. The airco/heater in the room was nice to have.

The way to operate the shower wasn't very useful. Little water pressure, if you only wanted the top shower head the bottom one went too. The toilet kept dripping which was sometimes audible in the room. Very minor inconveniences though!

The host Maria was super friendly and helpfull such a great host! The room was clean and modern and had the most beautiful view. It was located nearby restaurants and cafés. It is a smaller village, which we prefered as it was more autentic and not touristic. It is easy to get around with Uber or Bolt to go to nearby places like Valetta or the beach.

Good contact with the owner. Clear instructions for the self check-in and most importantly: great view on the harbour!

The location is very nice, bay view. Very clean. Bus station at 3 min distance, other restaurants and coffee shops in close range (5-10 min) walking distance

I had a very pleasant stay at Maria’s Appartement. Clean, Comfortable, Cozy. Great Experience from Checkin to Checkout, Highly Recommended.

Perfect location (centre of Marsaskala, right on a quiet part of the promenade, three minutes to the bus stop to Valetta or the airport). Excellent conditions (spacious, air-conditioned room, bathroom with shower, fridge, kettle, coffee machine with capsules. One note - the safe should probably be permanently attached to the stationary parts.) New, clean, safe building. I recommend a room with a balcony, you will get a free view of the bay. In the area there are cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, a large playground for children (if anyone needs it :) If you have any questions/problems, the apartment staff, especially Maria (!) will be happy to help, her tips were invaluable! If I were to go to Malta again, South Shore would be my first choice!
