Villa Mosta

Hosts are amaizing people!!! I have never seen and met such hospitable and nice people. Hostel has great location, close to Rotunda. Nice balcony, air conditioning, enough space, fridge in the room. I do not have enought words to express how l like there. Hosts always helped me, gave advices, what to see, where to go, where to buy appropriate products, they are super friendly and polite !!! All the time l felt their support.

There was nothing to do not like

The property did not serve breakfast however there were a number of neraby cafes that did excellent breakfasts, especially Mellows. Our hosts were amazing. Minja helped with understanding the bus system, even checking current bus times abd routes for us. We highly recommend Villa Mosta and will definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

Villa Mosta is a beautiful old style bungalow with the perfect balance of modern comfort and old world charm, in the best possible location in Mosta. What made my stay particularly pleasant were the hosts Minya and Andreas who went beyond what is usually expected of hosts, to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I really appreciate it!

Unfortunately, I happened to be in Mosta at the wrong time of the year- towards the end of July and in the height of summer 2023, when temperatures were as high as 47°C! And to make matters worse, Mosta experienced unprecedented power cuts during this time, which meant there was no electricity for 2 whole nights (almost 3!). I was in Mosta for an exam, so it was imperative that I was comfortable so that I could prepare well. But the weather Gods and Enemalta (the electricity supplier) had other plans! What made matters worse were the construction works going on everywhere- there was dust flying all over the city and the heat was unbearable. I would recommend visiting Mosta during cooler times of the year, so that you truly enjoy your stay. It may be advisable for the property to get a back up generator so that customers are not inconvenienced by the power cuts. Also, it may be a good idea to install a pedestal fan in the rooms, so that one doesn't need to use the AC all the time, since one has to pay extra for running the AC.

The hosts were ideal. Made for a wonderful visit. Let me know where everything was. Did helpful introductions. Grocery store nearby and friendly merchants.

Only that there was a massive amount of construction happening on the surrounding roads. Did not affect sleep but did make walking interesting.
