Isla de Paz Beach Resort

Isla de Paz is a quiet, private, cluster of simple but comfortable cottages on a stunning beachfront. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff are so lovely, even accommodating four of us staying in the one cottage. It is located in San Juan, Siquijor Island, a short motorbike ride to bars, restaurants and local eateries. Siquijor is not very walkable, so it is best to hire a motorbike/scooter—the owners and staff can help you learn to drive in the long driveway if it is your first time! It is a perfect and tranquil escape from the busier parts of the Philippines. Many sweet dogs and cats also live on the property and are lovely company. We would stay again!

While one cabin is a perfect size for two people, it is not really suitable for many more than that. It is also best to ask the staff to change your sanitary bin (as you understandably cannot flush toilet paper and the bin will smell) and ask for some new towels, as the rooms aren’t cleaned daily.

The fact property don’t get clean during stay and you only get one set of towels. Obviously not a huge issue but when staying as short break.

No doubt, it’s clean and accessible going to the center of San Juan.

However, the owner/manager is too strict, to the point that he’s always checking and interrupting our stay. Everything is an issue to him. We booked for a home service massage, and he’s more than worried about the comforter that it will get stained rather than our comfort. We paid for their service and our stay, so it’s their responsibility to have it clean and it should not be our problem. Also, shoes should be left outside the room, again, there are more concerned about maintaining cleanliness rather than comfort of the guests.. We heart a lot of bad reviews from other people around about the owner, so I don’t recommend you staying in this place.

On a small beach in San Juan, very well located to explore the island, walking distance to many restaurants and Tubod sanctuary for amazing snorkeling. It’s very simple room but clean and everything you need to sleep. Good value for money There is no restaurant in the hotel so need to get out to eat. The hotel supervisor Noel helped us to organise an island tour and the transfer to the airport, very nice

Chose this because it's beachfront with a good price. Rooms are not by the roadside, so it's quiet. The place is kept clean.

Beautiful location on the beach and near restaurants. Noel made arrangements for motorbike rental and transport.

I felt overmanaged as a guest by Noel. WiFi wasn’t reliable. There was a brownout almost everyday I was there.
