Going to Banaue was a last minute trip decision my family had to welcome the new year and I'm glad we decided to stay in Bogah Lodge! Mr. Joel picked us up early in the morning when our bus arrived in Banaue. There are steps going down to the homestay. The view from the dining area and the lobby was nice! I loved hearing the sound of the river flowing. The rooms were simple and clean. They may be tight if you have luggage so we booked an additional family room that made our stay more comfortable. Both rooms were the only rooms at the top floor which was good as we had privacy. They also cook meals which was convenient when we didn't want to go out to eat. They also have a good internet connection and my sister was able to do remote work. We truly enjoyed the tour that was led by Mr. Joel and his son Barzy on the first day and also Roy, Barzy's best friend, on the 2nd day. We learned a lot about the places we visited and the way of life of the people living there. Barzy then dropped us off at Banaue Tourism Center where we waited for our bus going back to Manila. Thank you so much for making our visit to Ifugao memorable! We also want to thank Mrs. Joy, Mr. Joel's wife, and Ms. Sabel for accommodating our requests. We highly recommend Bogah Lodge! :)
