The Castle View Homestay

We loved everything. Hosts were professional and friendly, home cooked food by mom was delicious, view of palace from the rooftop terrace was spectacular.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, il y a une magnifique vue sur le palais depuis le toit terrasse. La famille (les frères) qui gère l’hôtel est très accueillante. Nous avons dîné le soir à l’hôtel, le repas est préparé par la maman. C’était un vrai délice.

Love the location and view from the room as well as terrace, it was serene and peaceful and perfect location for a solo traveller.

Nanu is putting a lot of work into this place, which is already favored with a great view of the palace. The home cooking is excellent. He also helped me with some train bookings when my plans fell apart as they frequently do in India.

Be aware of monkeys, though they are not as grabby as in Varanasi or similar places.

We visited many amazing places in our tour round Rajathstan but if I were to choose somewhere to go back to and spend more time it would be Bundi and I would stay again at the Castle View Homestay. Nanu was an exceptional host and it was a pleasure to meet him and spend some time with him and his parents. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, breakfast was simple and what you would expect from a small but good quality homestay and a real highlight was the exceptional evening meals we enjoyed, perfectly prepared home cooking vegetarian favourites......And did I mention the location, the rooftop terrace with views of the palace and castle and over the rooftops of Bundi are stunning and often referenced in reviews but I would also add how at home we felt in the local streets, shops and markets. There is something special about Bundi.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, Wunderschöner Blick auf den Palast von der Dachterrasse aus. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Besitzer. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen wurden frisch zubereitet und waren sehr lecker. Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu dem äußerst sehenswerten Palast war unübertroffen.
