The Castle View Homestay

Perfect location next to the Palace and fort, and very close to a car drop off point, yet very peaceful at night, with wildlife nearby. The hosts were exceptional, a warm welcome, knowledgeable and interested, arranging a guide, a car, tips about local sights and happy to talk about their life in India. We had an excellent cooking session, preparing our supper of pakora, palak paneer, aubergine stew, jeera rice, chicken pea curry and nan bread. The home cooked food was all local and very tasty.

The fort was closed during our visit, butt that was out of their control.

The host was amazing, the location is the best in Bundi and the home cooked meals were divine. They also make superb espresso, grind the beans, you won't be disappointed. Really enjoyed chatting with the host + family and appreciated how they welcomed us into their establishment.

There was nothing I didn't like. Host organised a guide for the fort who was brilliant, informative and up front with the cost. Only stayed 1 night but probably should have stayed a second!

perfect stay, lovely place in front of the palace, delicous food. Nanu and his family are careing hosts and his cousin Nayan a professional and really good tourguide. Incredible was the pick up and drop off service from the train station during the night with 2 hours delate. I‘ll never forget what Nanu did for me! Thank you again!

Beste Lage und supernetter Host. Das Essen auf der Dachterasse, gekocht von der Mama, war mehr als phantastisch!

Es gibt überhaupt gar nichts zu kritisieren!

The location of this property is amazing - right below the old palace and fort. The property was very clean and bed was comfortable. The food at the homestay was outstanding vegetarian made by the mother. It was also a short walk to the Burg Cafe which served great coffee, omelettes and brownies etc. Highly recommend staying here (and in Bundi) even if it’s just to wander through the old palace and visit the Raniji-ki-Baori stepwell.

Es una casa particular de una familia, fueron muy amables con nosotros y las habitaciones son cómodas y muy bonitas. Las vistas desde el roof top del hotel son impresionantes, optamos por cenar ahí y la comida estaba muy buena. Lo único que tengas en cuenta que se trata de una casa familiar y por lo tanto van a estar más encima de ti, si quieres cenar ahí tienes que pedir lo que quieras con anticipo porque lo hace la madre de la familia para ti. Pero si no te incomoda que te aconsejen es una buena opción. Las vistas son espectaculares y te cuidan mucho. El desayuno muy rico.

La entrada es un poco complicada. En nuestro caso nuestro conductor les llamó para que vinieran a buscar nuestras maletas al parking de la entrada del palacio de Bundi, pero desde ahí, es complicado llegar si no vienen a buscarte. Tiene unas escaleras de acceso empinadas que quizás son complicadas si tienes algun problema de movilidad, para las maletas no hay problema porque ellos te ayudan con todo.

Bien situé. Très belle vue sur le fort. Dîner de qualité préparé par la maman. Accueil sympathique. Pressé de jeux pour les familles. Bonne literie.

Wir haben uns im Castle View Homestay in Bundi sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein aber sauber und vor allem sehr ruhig. Oben auf der Dachterrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Stadtpalast. Der Hotelmanager hat uns bei der Organisation unserer Reise professionell geholfen. Das angebotene Abendessen ist sehr empfehlenswert.
