The view and the staff was great! Very helpful and kind

The road was very hard to drive with the car. We had to took the TukTuk to get to the hotel as the road was really bumpy. The shower didn’t work and we could use only the cold water + the sink was clogged so we had to brush our teeth under the shower. It was raining whole night so the room gets really cold in a moment. The full space wasn’t clean including the towels or the bedsheets.

Chathu has been incredibly welcoming and made us feel truly like home! The breakfast was delicious and the mountain view priceless. 10/10 :)

We had an amazing stay at this charming little homestay, located about a 30-minute walk from the center of Ella. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by lush, jungle-like nature that made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The daily breakfast served on the balcony was delicious and offered at a very fair price. It was the perfect way to start our day, enjoying the morning view and the sounds of nature. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt truly welcomed. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat just outside the busy center of Ella, this place is perfect. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommended + My guests from Maldives stayed there for one night, they were really happy about their stay. As per them, the owners are really friendly and helpful even though they have a tuk tuk service, so there no need to worry about going anywhere. As per my guests the the sri lankan homemade breakfast was truly amazing.

The view from the balcony is beautiful and the location adds a connection to the local life far from the tourist route. Amazing and special experience.

It os important to note that the home stay is very minimal. No hot water in the shower, no drinking water, we had to bring water bottles ourselves. Quite far from the main town but thats the charm.
