restroom is quite far from bedroom

The bedroom and toilet were super clean! The room was big enough for two people, the place was quiet, towels for showering were provided and the location is practically in the center of Ponta Delgada. The value for money is good and it was cheap. So, a good option if looking for a cheap stay.

The door of the bedroom didn't give much sense of safety to leave valuables in the room. On the very humid and hot days, it would be nice to have a fan or dehumidifier.

In the room, flying ants crawl out from under the baseboard at night.

Nice place and good location (3 min walk to center). Good value for money.

- Spotless accommodation - Well located

We booked the double room, which claims 'private room'. - Our room was located upstairs. Bathroom was on the ground floor. SUPER FAR. To get there, you need to go downstairs ( very steep and long) , go through the living room, the kitchen, and a long corridor (with a couple of smalls steps that if you don't remember at night, you can TWIST you ankle, which happened to us. Really BAD. - We texted the host to see if we could get another room and his answer was: "read the Booking description. That's what you booked". Sorry but we didn't see anything in booking about a 3 minute walk to go to the bathroom. We felt his answer was a bit RUDE. - WORST MATTRES I've ever slept on. Seriously. You can feel every spring, which doesn't allow you to rest at all. I'd also say the pillow is quite small. - It also claims to have a fully equipated kitchen, but there is NO STOVE. There is only a kettle, fridge and a sink. - The whole accommodation CREAKS alot. - They ask you to through the used paper in a bin, instead of the toilet, but they don't empty it up until your stay is over. - They claim to have mosquito net, but we did not have in our room. Since the first night we couldn't sleep due to the mosquitos, we texted the host to request some, and we only got half of it, which only allowed us to open the window particially. - It was quite WARM, we missed a fan or AC. - To enter the accommodation you need to go up quite a few stairs, very steep, so if you have any mobility issues, as we had, I wouldn't recommend you booking this apartment. The room is affordable but I truly recommend spending 50 more euro to book something better. We tried after the first night, but everything was fully booked and we had no chance to do it.
