Room in Oss

Bardzo udany pobyt. Właścicielka bardzo pomocna i miła. Śniadanie smaczne i pod dostatkiem, niczego nie brakowało, wszędzie czyściutko. Okolica znakomita. Spokojnie , blisko do centrum. Polecam.

Het bed was redelijk goed

Alles was oud , klein kamertje, oude badkamer met toilet waar de bril van los zat.

Nothing really!

Ok, I understand that accommodation in South Netherlands is expensive, but I expected better. This is a standard domestic house on the very edge of town that has been turned into an air bnb with every available room being let out individually. There is a keybox on the wall outside to get access, no host present (she was in Croatia apparently) and one shared bathroom for EVERYONE staying at the same time. Cue queues for the shower in the morning and warm seats for the loo (which is also one of those old-fashioned disgusting 'platform-poop' toilets where you can inspect it after you drop it before finally flushing). Our room turned out to be a converted attic with a staircase like the north-face of the Eiger; woe betide anyone elderly or with a disability, you just won't make it! There was some kind of multi-gym fitness equipment "hidden" behind a screen that prevented access to the sink and cupboards with a noisy water boiler or tank concealed in a shoddily built cupboard behind it. Not a great night's sleep when other people come in late and start running water. We had two small hand-towels provided between two of us, no actual bath towels, and only one duvet that was actually narrower than the bed meaning someone's bum was in the fresh air overnight. The 'included' breakfast was a pack of six breadrolls, some portions of cheap margarine, a pack of cheese slices, 7 skinny slices of cold meat clingfilmed on a plate and four wafer biscuts. For two of us. For two nights. We also ended up being locked IN the property on our first evening when other guests double-locked the front door from outside when they went out - the key provided only operated the lock from OUTSIDE - meaning we missed dinner with friends and had to be 'rescued' by a pizza delivery guy who took our keys through the letterbox and unlocked us from outside.

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Goed communiceren met de vriendelijke host

Problemen met voordeurslot ( cilinder) dat niet werkt zoals een normaal slot zou moeten doen. (We mochten deur niet afsluiten van buitenkant anders kwam je van binnen niet naar buiten) Ik zou zeggen vervangen voor knopcilinder zodat je ook in een noodsituatie snel buiten bent.
