Nothing. It should be called Lounge with a view as that is more accurate. Not the way the titles leads you to believe.

Everything. It is 40 minutes out of Wellington. In a dirty overpopulated street with the narrowest lanes. As with other bookings you expect you are renting the whole house to yourself. Not this place although nothing was communicated either in the ad or in person from the owner. The house is also occupied by the son a lodger and the owners in the garden. Obviously trying to make a quick buck out of tourist by being slack with the truth. The house is overpowered by incense and in need of a paint job. One small toilet and a shared bathroom. The owner feels that because it has shared bathroom in the ad that should enlighten you to the fact the house is occupied by strangers while you are there. So no quiet peaceful enjoyment of the property then. The wife is busy banging around the kitchen making everyone dinner and we were informed that they were having a BBQ get together on the Saturday with all their friends. So again so peace and quiet. We didn’t stay. We packed the suitcases back into the car and went to a hotel. Totally drained and exhausted. Saddened that our first holiday in 6 years and the start of our 30th wedding anniversary week has begun like that. These concerns were addressed to the owner who said he would refund us but has since gone back on this. So if you want to see beautiful Wellington. Relax. Get away from busy narrow streets. Have great views and be able to take a deep breath and sigh feeling happy. DON’T BOOK HERE If you want. Crowded. Noisy. One room with a beautiful view. Strangers around. Incense smell everywhere. To be 40 minutes from the action. BOOK HERE

Amazing view down the Hutt river. Location was perfect for our sporting commitments at Fraser Park. Stu and Ratana are the most friendly and hospitable hosts. Lots of laughs and kiwi banter.

Breakfast was left out as an self help, with plenty of choice of cereals and bread's with tea and coffee facilities. Internet access was excellent. Information on "Rooms with a view" was clearly presented. Overall a most relaxing place to stay representing excellent value for money.
