"A beautiful home away from home 🧡"

10.0

The rooms are very comfortable. Vicky and Mirita are so kind and welcoming. You are able to cook in their wonderful kitchen or have food prepared for you. The hosts are very generous and will go above and beyond!(I left a pair of socks and they not only came to the bus station to drop them off to me but they also cleaned them…they had never been so clean!). Vicky works in the tourism office so knows a lot of interesting things to do. She connected me with an amazing ceramic factory where they have classes on ceramic making and painting. I also went to a beautiful art exhibition with her. It is a very homely and comfortable place in a good location. My favourite place I have stayed so far on my visit. Could not recommend more!

"Amazing stay, my first guinea pig meal cooked by Mirita, lots of visits to Banos del Inca. Thumbs up especially if you a"

I chose Casa Mirita because I am travelling solo and was looking for a more inclusive situation rather than just staying at a hotel, and I wanted to improve my Spanish. Casa Mirita was a very pleasant experience, and Vicky and Mirita really made me feel at home. Vicky works in tourism and was super helpful directing me to things to do and helped me along when I needed it due to my Spanish not being quite good enough yet. She also took me and the other guests to Kuntur Wasi on her day off, so we had our private guide. I chose to stay in Cajamarca for a few days because there are so many things to see and do but also because of the Banos del Inca. I went there many times, grabbing a moto taxi early in the morning (10 soles) and taking the colectivo back (2 soles). I definitely recommend Casa Mirita for a authentic experience.

The location is a bit far from the center, but it is walkable and motos and colectivos are a really good option. I love riding in the colectivo!

"Homey and welcoming!"

10.0

We stayed for just one night but the hosts were so kind and welcoming! They greeted us with tea and cookies and gave us directions to the bus stop the next evening. The place is quaint and cute. The rooms are small but were big enough for our belongings, so what else do you need? The was a common room with books and games to play. It was a lovely stay with a homey feel, I would recommend to anyone staying in cajamarca!

Slightly far from the main plaza but this was no issue, easy enough to walk or take a mototaxi for a few soles!

"Family stay in Cajamarca"

9.0

We stayed five nights in Casa Mirita. Casa Mirita is located a bit outside of the center in a quiet street, Cajamarca center Is reached very easily with mototaxi. The room in Casa Mirita is basic, the personal atmosphere, provided by Mirita and Vicky, is just fantastic. The breakfast is freshly prepared every day and very good. We can recommend Casa Mirita to everybody who is interested staying in a typical Peruvian home and in experiencing Peruvian hospitality.

"Feels like home!"

10.0

Mirita is just a kind soul and makes your stay super comfortable. The room was big enough for me, the shower had hot water at any time and the breakfast (which you can ask for) was marvellous as Mirita is willing to suit your food preferences.

Nothing to complain about just note that the place is located 10 mins by trike/taxi from the city centre. You can make it walking too as the way is safe.
