We had such a special time with Pilar and Jose Luis and family! They were so welcoming and kind and made us feel right at home. The location is incredible with views of the lake and farmland. Our room was clean, heated, had warm water and overlooked the lake. We even had a lovely seating area outside to relax and enjoy the view. The food was AMAZING! Pilar made fresh, healthy and traditional food - we loved everything. It was a pleasure getting to know the family whilst sharing meals and exploring. They shared much knowledge, stories and culture which made it all the more special. Jose Luis was so helpful in organising boat transfers and where to get cash out since there aren’t any ATMs in town. We loved hiking to the pachatata hill overlooking the lake for sunset. So grateful - thank you so much for everything !

Lovely family home with views of Lake Titicaca, flower garden, and close to village centre. The hosts were very hospitable and it was a great experience staying with the family.

The stay at Jose Luis and Pillar home was simply amazing. The place is magical, the food is so good and the family is lovely. They will make sure you learn the Amantani ways of life and will provide an unforgettable experience on Amantani island!

L’accoglienza da parte della famiglia è assolutamente squisita, come pure colazione pranzo e cena, cucinate con cura da Pilar con tutti prodotti a chilometro zero. Particolarmente apprezzabile la terrazza di camera con vista sul lago.

La atención, el afecto y cariño de José Luís y su mujer Pilar, que por cierto es una excelente cocinera. Ambos hacen que la estancia sea una Maravilla

J'ai passé deux nuits chez Pilar et José Luis et c'était vraiment très bien, ils sont vraiment très sympathiques et accueillants, la chambre était très grande avec une salle de bain très propre et moderne, et nous avons très bien mangé grâce à la cuisine de Pilar, je recommande fortement

I proprietari sono ospiti eccezionali; la cucina Pilar buonissima ed abbondante; confort molto superiore allo standard dell'Isola. Consigliatissimo se si vuole soggiornare nell'isola.

Esperienza indimenticabile nella casa dei carissimi Louis e Pilar. Camera bella e confortevole, bagno in camera con doccia calda. Ottimi pasti preparati da Pilar: ho mangiato la più buona trota salmonata della mia vita. Louis molto efficiente nell’aiutarci ad organizzare gli spostamenti.

L'accueil et la gentillesse de José Luis et Pilar ! Les repas étaient succulents. Douche chaude et chambre très confortable.
