Sol's Inn - Port Barton

The owners are very kind. The bed is comfortable. The dogs are the cutest. Hot water worked fine. We booked the island hopping and van to el nido with the owner, everything was well organised.

The smell in the bathroom is very strong. The air con was leaking. It was very noisy, which is not the owners fault but if you are looking for a quiet place to rest, this is not a place for you. The wifi was also not working.

It was a very basic room and I was only there one night. Sol was very helpful And gracious

The absolute best thing about this property are the hosts. Sol and Chris (and Hazel the dog) are extremely welcoming. They gave us some great tips for things to see and do in Port Barton, and Sol arranged our island hopping tour for us, which was a highlight. The location is also great, around 5-10 walk from the centre of town.

Very good clean modern rooms,large bathroom plenty of hot water ,located 5 min walk to main beach,run by very helpfull and nice couple,booked island hopping trips and was collected from hotel, rented very good scooter ,would recommend and stay there again ,free water,breakfast upon request

Like most places in port barton wifi not good,but i could use if i sat by router which was directly outside my room

Lovely stay at sol's Inn. The room was very comfy and very clean. Attention to detail perfect in every way! The inn is a short walk into town in the perfect location. Sol and her husband are very friendly and helpful. X

Dogs barked at all hours!

The room is large and cozy, the bathroom same thing. The owners are very kind and friendly, always making you feel a guest in their home. Location-wise this Inn is just ouside the main streets.

I know it is related to the owners or the place itself but the roosters around the Inn are super loud 24/7 so bring some earplug for the night.

Sol and Chris are wonderful hosts. Rooms are spacious and clean. AC one of the best in the Philippines. You notice in the little details that the rooms are well thought out. Also Chris’ breakfast is well priced and tastes very good!

Nothing! Loved our stay

The owners are very sweet and made a lovely surprise in the room for our anniversary and provided us with suggestions for the area. Thank you so much for making this special. The location is walking distance to the centre of port Barton so you don’t necessarily have to use a bike if you just stay in the centre. Rooms were big, clean and had a warm shower which was great. They offer breakfast for additional cost which looked lovely but I unfortunately couldn’t eat as I’m gluten free.

Unfortunately my boyfriend and I didn’t have one good night sleep whilst we were there for 5 nights due to the owners dog and the dogs in the surrounding area barking and fighting all night long. Many Roosters also kept us up when the dogs weren’t or the neighbours having parties until 2am. The walls are paper thin so you hear most things. Might be different on higher floors. Our room was also not cleaned for 5 nights. When you are having to put toilet paper in the bins it would have been nice to have these emptied at least once and have fresh towels at least once too.

Most friendly owners, very chatty and helpful! Great location and spacious room with everything you need.

The WiFi didn't work while we were there so would recommend booking your next location beforehand. Residential area gets a bit loud so would recommend some ear plugs ;)
