J’ai bien aimé l’emplacement du lieu, en plein centre-ville et proche de toutes les activités. Il s’agit d’une ancienne résidence, mais elle reste propre. L’accueil était très bien assuré par Med et son fils.

Le seul petit souci concerne l’heure d’entrée, qui est à 14h au lieu de midi, ce qui peut être un peu gênant pour une personne souhaitant se balader dans la médina le matin sans bagages. Mais ils restent très serviables et disponibles si on leur demande quoi que ce soit.

I want to give an honest review, as I’m not usually someone who complains or expects everything to be perfect. However, I think it’s important for future guests to know what to expect. I truly appreciated the hospitality. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a family apartment, and I felt that warmth. The room itself was okayish, and I’m grateful for the effort and kindness shown.Alsp I did have a heavy electric scooter with me. They helped me carry it up to the 3rd floor where the appartment is, which I found very helpful.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me was the hygiene and cleanliness, especially in the shared bathroom. It was honestly very dirty and not cleaned, more dingy and even moldy in many areas. I didnt expect luxury or modern facilities, since this was a budget friedly place, but i belive basic cleanliness doesn’t require a big budget and should be a standard. The room itself was a little better then the bathroom, but the blankets had an unpleasant smell, and the carpet felt old and unclean.The walls were also very dirty. It wasnt easy for me to write this because they were really nice and helpful. But unfortunately that doesn't make up for the bad hygiene. Another thing that i didt find ideal is that it's only possible to close your room from the inside and not the outside.

If you want to experience a large older typical moroccan family apartment and great hospitality from the owner Moud, with some cute cats. this is the place for you. Great location in an iconic building in main area of upper town next to Royal Palace, but just outside medina. Close to many cafes and places to eat. The rooms are rustic and full of history and books. Try to get the front room, amazing views from the 3rd floor window over mosque and medina above on the hillside, great for people watching. Moud and his family are so friendly and helpful, and invited me to eat with them and watch the Africa Cup football on TV. Of course you are staying in a family home so there are some rules. Overall authentic experience and good value.

The bathroom is a bit antiquated and needs a good clean. The shower could be better.
