Balay Hayahay Clohaki Hostel

I like everything. I like how convenient it is from restaurants, cafes, and beach.

We stayed in the right side, middle cabin. It is troublesome for us to sleep since there was a funky smell circulating in the room. We found out that it was the toilet that causes it. Everytime we flush, backflow from the fixture keeps spreading. I hope the facility will check this out. Also, the lack of outlets. The usb plugs don’t function.

+ very!! beautiful private huts + nice Location (in the middle between General Luna and Cloud 9, central but quiet) + nice and helpful stuff (scooter renting, airport transport…) + free drinking water + aircon/fan

- mattress is a bit thin and sweaty - quite a lot of mosquitoes - mosquitos nets over the bed would be fantastic!! - only cold water in the shower

- Pretty convenient from General Luna and Cloud 9 - Communal kitchen area is clean and useable - Social dorm space - Hosts are very kind and can help arrange transport

Can’t recommend sleeping in the dorm. It’s open air - no windows - so tons of mosquitoes are getting in at night. My face was eaten alive as the rest of my body was covered with a thin sheet. Also, poor ventilation - the fans just don’t cut it. It’s hot and humid and so hard to sleep.

Weird indoor laws No toilet paper (mandatory) No shoes in side the room (you will be up in bed with sand and mud)

I like that each bed has fans and the place is big so you have enough space to put your luggage. I like the common area where you can work.

I wish they had toilet paper in the CR.

The hosts were super nice and gave us many advices and recommendations. The hostel was comfortable and it was easy to get to the city center or Cloud 9 from there.
