The environment

The houses look very nice from the outside. The muezzin‘s call for the morning prayer was very nice and in good quality. You most likely will not miss your wake up time.

Parking 🅿️ The property has an own parking lot which is nice. However, it is very narrow and the fact that the owner parks his new Mercedes there makes it even narrower. Check-In We were briefly handed the keys and that’s it. The bathroom A very dark room which was completely wet when we arrived. Didn’t get dry though, we had to wear shoes everytime we went in. The noise The house has very thin walls you hear every noise from the neighbours, which made it hard to find sleep. Once asleep, the muezzin called for the prayer at 6 am, and we were up again. It was a nice “song” in good acoustic quality and only about a minute long, so we could fall asleep thereafter again, if not for a rooster 🐓 that lives on or near the property that wanted to make sure everyone really gets up if one missed the muezzin. And after it stopped, the neighbouring families, who’s nights were also cut short, started their morning routines. So we were up easily 2 hours before the alarm. Not a good thing when you want to be rested for a long drive that day. The check out No one was there for the check out 🤷‍♂️ so we left the keys on the table. The breakfast The booking made it clear that no breakfast is included. However, there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but we found out (already) the night before that it opens at 8 am, but food is not served before 9 am. A good 2 hours after we were up and ready. Thus we left for another place, as we didn’t want to spent more time there.

The entire place is not as shown on pictures in Booking. The place is old, and not ‘cute’ as expected. - No luxury, extremely basic; - No proper bathroom (that is why no pictures); - Some (old) flip flops in the washing room (to take shower with?). - Too far away from city (my mistake), but in very poor area, no holiday feeling around at all. We decided not to stay and book something else. Owner/Booking still has to come back on (partial) refund, so have to be honest with feedback too. If you are used to European standards…Do not book
