Berghütte Plafötschalm

Die Lage und der Garten sind einfach ein Traum. Die Berghütte ist der ideale Ort, um in familiärer Atmosphäre die Batterien nach einer langen Wandertour wieder aufzuladen. Renate hat sich super um uns gekümmert.

-Le cadre est adapté aux randonneurs recherchant une expérience en pleine nature. -Le dîner était inclus dans le prix (bien que cela n’ait pas été mentionné clairement lors de la réservation).

-L’établissement est en réalité un refuge, et non un hôtel classique, ce qui n’était pas précisé. -Plus d’une heure de marche pour y accéder, sans en avoir été informés avant la réservation. -Absence de services de base attendus dans un hôtel : pas de gel douche, pas de sèche-cheveux, pas de mouchoirs… -Aucune communication claire sur les horaires à respecter (arrivée avant 19h pour le dîner). -Refus de nous raccompagner à notre voiture le lendemain matin, faute d’avoir prévenu à l’avance.

Das sehr gut ausgestattete Haus liegt in einer einmaligen und malerischen Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Mahlzeiten sind alle frisch zubereitet, abwechslungsreich und wirklich sehr lecker. Vor allen Dingen legt die Gastgeberfamilie großen Wert auf regionale und frische Produkte. Die ganze Familie ist wirklich sehr nett, äußerst gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und steht einem bei allen Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.

Un po’ disordinata

This place is too good to be true.

We liked the mountain vew. The owner, Renate, runs the hotel. It is open for two months only during the summer.

The information on internet how to reach hotel was not accurate. It tells that it takes 30 minutes only to reach hotel from the bus stop. It took us one hour and 15 minutes walking on a dirt road to find the hotel. We were very confused and we were very lucky to meet several hikers to ask for directions. Clients of the hotel are not permitted to drive their cars up to the hotel but Renate uses her car and her son drives a motorcycle. It was very upsetting. This hotel is not accessible for people with any health problems and there were any warning about it. Also it took for us another 1.5 hour to go down back from hotel to the bus stop next morning to continue our traveling. Renate is very tight with her spendings to provide her services to her clients. The dinner was not good. Renate doesn't ask her clients about the food and everybody eats what she cooks. There are not options. The breakfast is very skinny: no pastries, bread only, some cold cuts, cheese, jam and yoghurt. There is a big coffee machine in the kitchen but only one kind of coffee was served for everybody. The hotel is not cheap but there is not even a tiny piece of soap to wash hands. Our last impression was that we just were leaving the hotel in the morning and we heard Renate already discussing us in our back. It was not nice at all.

Beautiful family hosting, dinner was especially fabulous but view is the best part. Room was very comfortable and clean- matched our dream of the Dolomites. Park at Platfotsch bus stop
