Urban Apartment

The apartment was close to the center, very clean and cozy. Pipa was a great host, check in and check out were very easy.

The bathroom door couldn't close all the way.

Elegant, very clean apartment. Very close to town. Quiet and peaceful. Very good value. The kitchen is shared, but it was not an issue.

We had our own kitchen and food.

The weather

Perfect location. Everything in a walking distance. Room was clean and tidy. Amazing and responsive owner.

There could have been more TV channels to select.

Location was good, only a 5 minute walk to the Marina, great restaurants on route and very close to a large supermarket. Air conditioning worked well. Easy communication with the host Pippa and she left me a Pasteis de Nata for breakfast on my first morning.

I didn't realise it was a shared kitchen, very ambiguous description of the facilities and I would not have booked if it had been made more obvious. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Although the room and "shared" kitchen were clean, my balcony and chairs were covered in pigeon poo. The doors to the balcony need repairing before they break. Very loud at night with (I assume) younger people after going out drinking. I am unsure of how the apartment compares to others in the area in terms of cost, but I thought it was very expensive and not good value for money.

Arrived late and while I had trouble getting in. Help was on hand. Thank-you. Room was basic, but comfortable, clean and close enough to the old town to walk in. Ticked all the boxes
