Host was friendly & very helpful. Accommodation was spotless & room beautifully decorated. However, the bathroom was not located in our room, just outside which was ok but would have preferred in room. Lots of parking.

Location was not within walking distance to restaurants. No coffee/tea making facilities although the host did bring us hot water to make a coffee. Late check in was an issue for us. Please check, check in time before booking.

The home is beautifully decorated and the terrace is lovely. The bedroom, bathroom and hot shower are spacious and well ventilated. It was quiet and private.

Although there was a glass bottle of water and glasses in the room, we found no way to make hot tea or coffee and were not offered any. Although some reviews mentioned a nice breakfast, note that it was not included or offered by the listing.

Size, comfort, cleanliness

Very clean and easy to find

The location is not good - the property is at the end of a dead end road on what looks like an old industrial estate. For the price the facilities were very poor - the main advertised facility was a kettle which wasn't even in the room - it was downstairs. How difficult is it to provide a kettle? Despite most of the reviews commenting on how good the breakfast was no breakfast was offered or made available to us. The price was very high considering all the negatives. By contrast for the following 3 X nights we stayed in a gorgeous traditional small hotel within the city walls of Obidos - which also included breakfast - and for 10% less !! We only stayed here as there were no nearby alternatives but would definitely not book again. We'd drive further instead!!

I had a late arrival due to the bad service of Sixt car Rental. It was no Problem to enter later on. Nice terrace.

A water boiler, coffee and tea bags in the rooms would be fine.

The property was very clean and well decorated. The hostess was kind and spoke English which was very helpful and appreciated.

The property was located in an area that is under construction, both roads and housing construction. Perhaps I missed something in the description when booking, but I did not realize that the room was off of the owners personal living quarters and that the bathroom, although only for my private use, was not attached to my room. You had to go out into the foyer to access the bathroom. This was a uncomfortable situation for me and I would not stay here again.
