"Enjoyable but not worth returning to."

Friendliness of the landlords. View from the balcony. Fequency of buses once we got grips with the timetables

Accomodation within the landlord's house. Lack of some facilities usually evident in apartments. In a residential area and away from restaurants, beaches, shops etc.

"Nice place to stay in Funchal."

Nice place in Funchal close to everything. Easy to find, have inside parking and a nice view of Funchal and the ocean. A classic room with a comfortable bed. :)

"Place better than you might expect"

Hotel is located near bus stop, with incredibly luxury view from a balcony. Hotel owners are extremely friendly and supportive, and overall atmosphere is very positive. Here you feel like you are at home, like you live on Madeira for a long time. Definitely worth to stay here again during the next visit.

I wish I could stay longer. For this price I don't see any bad things.

"Amazing thank you so much for having us!"

The hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us great recommendations for places to go, you could tell that they really love Madeira. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing (especially after a day of hiking or swimming in the sea). There was parking right next to the front door which was great for moving luggage to and from the rental car and we had a lovely view of Madeira. We were even given fresh, local fruit to try.

Nothing could have been better.

very friendly owner, amazing view

NO air condition, bathroom is separate of the room, Had to wait over 30 minutes outside in tell someone left to get in, no one was answering the phone or messges on booking, also its more like bed and breakfast as u will be renting a room in a house with the owners

Although I didn't spend so much time in the apartment (as Madeira is so amazing and wonderful,I spent time outside of the room,exploring),I had a great experience overall. There is a bus stop right next to the houses. Amazing view day and night from the balcony to Funchal!
