The location

#66 room 1 - I took and Uber from the airport (from Madrid where I live) and entered the guesthouse and dropped my bags. Everything seemed fine in the room, I even checked the bed, the mattress was in a zippered protective case so looked ok. The host contacted me to see if ever was ok and it was at that point. I come back at 9 and head to sleep. At around 12:30 I wake up to crawling on my face! I swiped it off and turn the lights on to see an adult bed bug on the white sheets. I know it’s a bed bug because I experienced them 6 years ago in Australia. Initially I was just going to suck it up and sleep there so I sent the host a msg saying I won’t stay both night but then decided I couldn’t risk it and I was not going to go through that again! Sent the host another msg at around 130 saying I moved to a hotel and would like a refund. Never heard from her again, you can see the attached screenshots. Have also contacted customer service. I didnt see the reviews which mentioned the bed bugs, that’s my bad, but come on. Absolutely disgusting.

Good for a single traveller. Location is ok. Good for the price.

There are no windows, so it can get hot and humid.

bedbugs, horrible smell, no windows at all, baththub full of hair, everything dirty and better do t touch it. but bedbags we found in the morning were the worst!

It took a long time in the air-conditioned room because there is no window. Bitten by bedbugs at night. A dark room.
