Tawerna Rybaki Old Town

They failed to send me a code to get into the room, so I spent three hours trudging around Gdansk looking for alternative accommodation. Fortunately, I was travelling light!!!

The owners were very kind, generous and helpful. Excellent location. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable (especially the bed!).

Nothing to add!! That was the best experience ever! I will definitely come again! These guys worth 100 stars! I wish all hotels and guest rooms be like them!

The apartment is situated in the centre of the old town so access to bars, cafes and restaurants was easy. The apartment had bath, toilet, tv and coffee making facilities.

We were not advised beforehand that the entrance to the apartment was to the rear of the property and that we needed access codes for 4 different doors. We had to ask several locals for help before we finally received an email with the information. We were not aware that this was how it worked. When we got access to the apartment we were not aware that we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs ( my wife has limited mobility). We were also surprised how much noise we heard from the main street and we were woken several times during the nights by rowdy party goers. We needed to have a window open as the apartment was stuffy and no air conditioning.

Very nice and comfortable room with a private bathroom. Looks down to an inner courtyard which was relatively quite. Very good location, perfect for a few day stay in Gdansk. Overall very satisfied.

Great location if you are there to enjoy the old town and dont mind the loud street in the front even at mid night. You wake up and open the window right on the people enjoying their breakfast in main steer of the old town. Luckily windows do isolate some noise but not fully.

Quite small and it is not clear that this is an apartment with difficult entrance (you have to find that which has been hard for us). It was also not clear that one entrance for two rooms with shared kitchen. You can hear neighbors watching TV easily and meet them in the small kitchen area. There are thee key codes that you have to remember all the time to get to the room. If your phone is out of battery, you might need to stay out.
