Das Forestel ist ein ganz besonderer Ort. Es liegt am Rande des Ortes, mitten im Dschungel, und ist der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen. Das Gebäude wurde mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert. Nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Alles fügt sich schön in die grüne Umgebung ein. In der Regenzeit finden nur wenige Gäste dorthin. Wir waren meist allein mit dem freundlichen Hund und den Katzen und haben die ruhige Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Die Inhaber, Katie und Toto, sind sehr nett und kommunikativ. Wir haben uns bei ihnen gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Danke :)

The accommodation was beautifully situated between coconut palms! It was very quiet at night and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The sanitary facilities were also very clean and well maintained! I can only recommend a stay there to anyone who is looking for peace and relaxation.

Wonderful hosts! The location is really deep into nature surroundings, you’re waking up with the sounds of the forest and with the view of gigantic tropical butterflies chasing one another. The property dog and the cats are also very lovely.

The Forrestel is a beautiful place run by amazing people! We enjoyed staying around the house a lot and especially the jungle sounds and the nice temperature at night. This place is special and also has the nicest hosts and guests compared to resorts at the beach, we already miss it! We would come back next time we are on Ko Kut for sure!

The place is not so sound proof, take some ear plugs :)

Wonderful simple rustic and comfortable homestay. So peaceful, homely and tastefully arranged in a rustic style. This is not a luxury resort but a place to enjoy the simple comforts of natural life. More hammocks than people and nature all around. Very wonderful friendly hosts who are down to earth and genuine. Amazing home cooked breakfast each morning.

I can see the location would be tricky for some. About 30min walk to the nearest waterfall (Klong Chao) or beach (around the Peter Pan resort). We were very happy to walk this and there are little restaurants and shops and fruit ice smoothie kiosks all along the walk (torches advised if walking in the dark but phone torches are ok). There are also nice nature trails through forest off from the waterfall or beach road well worth exploring. However, it could be more difficult for those who are walking averse. Anyway, it is well worth renting a scooter from the homestay for at least one day, maybe more, to explore the island a bit. Your hosts can advise resorts to go and visit for the day. Having a couple of bicycles for rent would improve. A couple of torches for loan could improve.

Nice atmosphere, always felt good to come in the evening after dinner. Excellent (even though shared) shower and toilet facilities, no other quest were ever using them at the same time we were so felt like they were allmost private and very roomy. Nice breakfast prepared individually every morning.

Voices/noices from other quests may bother you if they don't keep their voice down late in the evening or snore loudly.

The location is at a wee bit away from everywhere and very very peaceful across a homemade wooden bridge set in some lovely gardens. It's very relaxing, there's an abundance of nature and Toto and Katie are the loveliest hosts. Breakfast was great, and varied, they're happy to cook lunch and dinner as well if you like, have a bar stocked with snacks and drinks and even run snorkelling and fishing trips. Such a lovely place, we stayed 6 nights and were sad to leave!
