This property is beautiful! The exterior is classic New England with a lawn of beautiful mature trees and flowering shrubs. The interior is modern, streamlined, clean, high end European decor and art. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts were friendly and very helpful in recommending ways to enjoy the area. The private room and the public rooms are wonderful and comfortable. In our room, we enjoyed a complementary minibar, chocolates, tea service and espresso machine, wonderful climate control and peace! Nothing was missed. The bed was luxurious. This inn far exceeded or expectations. A very short walk to LL Bean or other shops if that is of interest. And a friendly, chilled, older dog to pet as a bonus. Can't wait to return. Thanks you so much for the wonderful stay.

I was thrilled with my stay. No negatives at all. The hosts thought of everything.

"Like staying in an Italian art gallery with great food and hosts."

The property is immaculate. The design and decor are stunning. Original contemporary art everywhere. Even the lamps are thoughtfully chosen. The breakfast was delicious and mainly local or homemade ingredients. The hosts are the perfect balance of welcoming, helpful, and unobtrusive.

A gem of an inn that cannot be outdone. Beautiful, serene interiors with a gallery feel. Attention to detail rarely seen. Spotless spaces. Indulgent breakfast. You will feel like you’re staying in a spa. I can’t say enough about this wonderful casa.

Delicious and complete Italian breakfast included home made baked goods and was made to order. Our hosts were knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions for nearby hiking, kayaking, dining and sightseeing.

Modern and beautiful furnishings. Wonderful European style breakfast. Short walk to LL Bean and all the shops. Innkeepers were relaxed and very accommodating.

"Exceptional"

Everything was wonderful about our stay. Communication before we arrived was helpful, and Giampy met us as we arrived and welcomed us with a glass of wine. The whole place including the room are well decorated and very comfortable. We slept well even on a queen size bed, shower had great water pressure and was toasty warm. The plushest towels. Breakfast was more than I had expected with homemade and local touches.

We should have stayed for longer!
