Tuscany Dorado Resort

Beautiful home. Room was Tuscan villa themed and very well appointed. Gorgeous pool and spa with several clusters of lounging areas. An exceptional outdoor patio with everything you could need and want for cooking, entertaining and enjoying meals poolside. Hostess Kathy was delightful, very welcoming and provided some fun snacks and beverages. Even though there were others staying in the home we hardly saw them, enjoying private time poolside. Convenient onside parking. We are looking forward to returning there to stay again.

pretty and clean; good location and easy to get there from the freeway; beautiful pool and terrace area; very gracious host about our having our two grandchildren with us; a queen size blowup bed was provided in addition to the king size bed at no extra charge.

It wasn’t completely explained to us until after booked that we would enter the property through the owner’s house, then she would show us to our room. That seemed like that would be awkward…but it really wasn’t. The set up felt more like a BnB, which was very nice.

My husband, son and I needed a cozy place to stay while we were visiting family in Shingle Springs. This air B&B was VERY close to our relatives home (10 min drive!) so it was perfect. Kathy, the hostess was very accommodating. There was very good communication and we checked in for a two night stay, in the early evening. The facilities are VERY comfortable and luxurious. Kathy provided refreshments (water and juices, popcorn, coffee and tea). The bath had soaps, fresh huge towels - the king size bed was super comfortable and ‘blow up’ extra bed for my son was perfect! There is a large T.V. (On the wall) and full Internet access.The room has wonderful air conditioning and even a cute (in the wall) electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth, in Winter! The room is decorated ‘Tuscany’ style and you ‘feel’ like you are on the coast in Italy! It was also VERY quiet! Parking is safe in a space off the street right in front of the house. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi in the beautiful backyard that is available for guests but we were to busy visiting family and running around to enjoy it - maybe next time?? ;-) We highly recommend you stay here! GREAT value for the money! ;-) Much more ‘homey’ and ‘private’ than a hotel! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You do access this air B&B through the main door of the hostess’s home. You need to carry your bags through the house to a stair case and walk up to the top floor where the room is. You do have a code you type in the door to go in and out so this works but it is a ‘little’ inconvenient, however, the ‘welcome’ feeling and comfort of the room totally makes up for this!
