Primrose Homestay Cao Bang

The lovely elderly couple running this homestay were so welcoming and did their utmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect, in a quiet alley right in the center of the city. We rented a bike in top condition to do a 5-day excursion without any problems. They also arranged a very reasonabally priced and comfy ride back to Hanoi.

We had a great time in the hostel. We booked one night and the lady was super helpfull, she told us what to do in Cao Bang and how to go to the waterfall and cave. We were alone in the dorms. The bathroom was clean. Her husband even took us to the bus station!

All you need for couple of days, riding & exploring the area. Moped rental, clean room, hot shower. Nice restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

The room was comfortable (just know the window is not to the outside, not a problem for us). Hot showers and located in the centre, easy to get anywhere. We hired 2 motorbikes and drove the 2 loops of Cao Bang with no issues. The host is super helpful and doesn't push any sales on you. She organised a great transport from Cao Bang to nearly our hotel door on Cao Bang, one sleeper bus all the way. She also saved locations on my phone to visit on our motorbike drive around Cao Bang. We got to see some beautiful sites and sometimes all to ourselves, loved driving around Cao Bang, some places only where bikes can go.

Lovely lovely lovely owners, couldn’t do enough to help us. They were so lovely and happy to give information on ban gioc and other Cao bang attractions One of the owners even drove us to them for a very very reasonable rate. And then booked and took us to the bus stop for Hanoi!!! So great, big recommendation

This homestay exceeded our expectations! We were really satisfied with our host, who helped us with finding the most beautiful spots in the area to visit. Also, she came prepared with a map of need-to-know information about restaurants, supermarkets, and food places which sold local specialties. We had booked a two persons room with our own bathroom. Everything was really tidy. We didn't book a room for the night on our last day in Cao Bằng. However, she still made sure there was a bathroom available for us so we could take a shower after our hiking tour. This is a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone!
