"Great place if you want a quieter, off the beaten track experience"

10.0

One of the more authentic places left in Ha Giang, Huong (sorry if that's spelt wrong) and his family is amazing and extremely helpful. The family dinner is amazing along with his performance with traditional hmong instruments. I wish I spent more time here, will definitely return.

"Unforgettable experience"

Staying here was unforgettable. Master was very lovely and entertained us at the dinner where I enjoyed tasty local foods and alcohol. The dorm was spacious and comfortable to sleep. I traveled around Vietnam for 2 months and this homestay was one of the bests for me.

The atmosphere is completely pure. The surrounded scenery is just serene. One of the best place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host is nice and well-trained. The meal is plenty and delicious. Ten out of ten.

"Cozy, warm, comfy"

8.0

This place is an ancient traditional homestay of Hmong people. It would be great if you want to get close to ethic people lifestyle. Even thought it was far from the center of Dong Van and in the small hidden village, tou can find every basic need here: warm water, clean bathroom, cozy place to sleep, meals, heating devices

It is not close to the Dong Van center town and the road lead to homestay is quite dangerous and hard to drive even with motobike. So if you ảe not with the professional tour guide or good at riding motorbike on mountain and high hill, i dont think it ưould fit you

"Great experience! Totally recommend it!"

10.0

We stayed in a private room with comfy double bed with a net on top to avoid mosquitoes. It also had a light, a fan and a lot of power outlets to charge our electronic devices! There were 4 shared bathrooms and they were quite clean and the shower was hot and powerful! The location is nice, you can find a small store nearby and a silver craftsman house in the end of the street. The neighbor next door makes textiles threads. The family dinner was amazing! With a lot of dishes to try and happy water! The host played traditional instruments and also tried to teach the guests to play it as well! The host speaks English and he’s very friendly! The breakfast was simple but tasty (pancakes with chocolate syrup). It was an amazing experience and we totally recommend it!

The bed doesn’t have sheets, it only has blankets. The private room didn’t have a window, but we think that all traditional hmong houses are like this! (But we heard that the dorms had windows) Our room was in the ground floor, so we could hear all the noise of people walking on the 1st floor, where the mixed dorms were! And the stairs also made a lot of noise. But it was not a big problem for us, because we had ears plugs! Actually there was only one thing that we relly thought it could be better, which are the towels! The host asks you to take a towel from the hanger on the balcony, but you don´t know if someone else already used the towel or not (other guests also had the same problem), you just use a towel that is on the hanger and put it back to dry, then other guests can do the same...
