Trang An Mountain House - The Heart of Heritage

The staff here are absolutely amazing - incredibly friendly and always making sure you are looked after. The rooms are comfortable and clean with good breakfast options. It was a great base for cycling and Trang A boat tours, overall the stay was a great way to slow down and enjoy beautiful Ninh Binh.

There were power cuts (10 -20 mins) during both days when we stayed, not the fault of the team though but may be a factor if depending on power.

The staff is friendly.

The pictures are a lot nicer than what it actually looks like. I left to another hotel after checking in. The room I had was really dark and very basic. Not what I was ecpecting based off the pictures.

The pool area looks like something from a luxury nature retreat — calm water, green gardens, and dramatic mountains all around. We spent hours just floating in the pool and enjoying the scenery instead of going back to the room lol. I booked this place because of the mountain view, but the swimming pool completely exceeded expectations

The pool here is absolutely stunning 😭 Swimming while surrounded by the limestone mountains of Trang An felt unreal, especially in the late afternoon when the sky turned golden. The water reflected the scenery like a mirror and the whole atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. Honestly one of the prettiest pool views I’ve seen in Vietnam.
