Happy Farm Tien Giang Homestay

Nice little farm with many animals, very friendly and supportive people. Also the food was good.

The room was dirty. I am not talking about the fact that it was a tiny and very minimalistic hut which was absolutely expected. But the linen was dirty and on the chair was poo of a bird or anything that seemed to be there long time before us. Also the bathroom wall is not closed to the roof and it is very minimalistic. All in all the price is far too high for a room which is only useable for sleeping and without a proper bathroom.

Quiet location walking distance from the old town, lovely hosts, nice clean room with a terrace.

It was great fun to stay in our little cottage in the gardens of the homestay and hear all the birds and insects around us. The cottage was comfortable and clean. It was really lovely having dinner on the terrace and watching the sun go down.

The only drawback was the lack of a mosquito net. The cottage wasn't perfectly sealed around the edges, so although the hosts provided us with a zappy mosquito killer, more got in during the night.

The Happy Farm is set in the most idyllic grounds-our children loved all the space to play. The hosts were fantastic and Oanh's cooking is exceptional. They helped us organise day trips and transfers too. Highly recomend as a place to stay when exploring the beautiful mekong delta.

Big yard for kids to play. Lots of different animals. The garden room view was nice. Breakfast was fine. They coordinated our taxi ride to the tour station for boat ride on Mekong. The tour was 280K per person and lasted a few hours. We went to unicorn island and experienced the coconut candy making, drank teas, ate fruits, ate lunch (not included in your price) , paddlers took us through a narrow part of river etc. AC worked well. Hosts were great.

No hot water, but you could use plug in kettle to boil water and then put in bucket under shower. I booked for two families and they almost didn’t honor the confirmed booking of two garden rooms with a view. I asked them to move other family to the one that appeared to be unoccupied and they did. They were concerned that since there was another family in the room next door with shared wall about the noise. It shouldn’t matter because if you were sold out, you’d still be putting two parties beside each other. I was appreciative that they did honor it.
