"nice rooms but a lot of loud drunk karaoke"

the property had nice new facilities and was clean.

the owners were drunk the whole time and were doing karaoke at insane volumes.

"Perfect stay in a well-located and beautiful bungalow"

The room was clean, neat and nothing was missing. It was well located for exploring the other towns on foot, bike or motorbike. The host was present all the time for me. I booked 2 nights (instead of one) and they agreed to correct the date (while the stay was non-refundable or changeable). Very good service, I recommend!

"Excellent place."

Stunning location amongst rice fields with views to mountains but within easy walking distance to town. Manager was on e of the nicest people- very kind and genuinely helpful.Free use of bikes but treated me so well including a tour on back of his motorbike. Shall remember this as my favourite homestay and highly recommend

"Lovely owner, cheap and cheerful"

The owner is so friendly and hospitable. He really goes out his way to make you feel welcome. We had free coffee and water during our stay which was a lovely bonus. Will definitely return when in Mai Chao.
