I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel, especially given the beautiful views. Unfortunately, several issues made my experience disappointing. First, there was no efficient cooling system, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The TV required a Wi-Fi connection to stream, but it didn’t work, leaving us with no entertainment. Basic amenities were missing, and to make matters worse, the bathroom door got stuck while I was inside. When I reported these concerns to the owner and suggested that a partial refund would be fair—especially considering the high price—I was met with an unprofessional response. I had originally planned to stay another night, but due to these problems and the owner’s attitude, I decided against it. It’s disappointing that rather than handling the situation with hospitality and professionalism, the owner dismissed my concerns and told me I am difficult. A simple acknowledgment and willingness to improve would have made a huge difference. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The view is just incredible! The room was a charming and nicely decorated double room with an ensuite bathroom (and huge shower). The owners live in a separate part of the property above and are lovely, welcoming and helpful. There were leaflets on the side table with ideas for activities nearby which was useful, we recommend the swimming with seals.

They mention that the room is only accessible by stairs, but they don't mention that it is quite a lot of stairs that are quite narrow and a bit steep. So I wouldn't recommend this place if you find this a challenge or if you struggle carrying your suitcases up and down. There is also no door on to the en-suite bathroom, (apparently this is a Dutch thing) so if you like your privacy, this might not be your thing.

The place looks better than the photos. A wonderful propert in a beautiful location hosted by lovely people.

A fantastic place to stay in Wilderness. Room with great views and very comfortable bed. Our room had a wonderful bathtub and mineral salts. Highly recommend..

Absolutely amazing! Host was very accommodating in terms of checking in and out times. View is exquisite! Beautiful room and wonderful atmosphere. We will 100% be back.
