Beausoleil

A wonderful surprise stop – truly exceeded expectations Beausoleil in Bonnievale turned out to be a real highlight of our trip. This stop was not originally our first choice and was more of an alternative along the route, but it completely won us over. The food was excellent. We had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was prepared with great care and attention to detail. Dinner was a lovely three-course menu, freshly cooked on site, and breakfast offered a very good selection with a buffet – all high quality and beautifully presented. The location is very peaceful and scenic, surrounded by nature. We also visited nearby vineyards and did a Chardonnay wine tour just down the road, which fit perfectly with the stay. The small ranch atmosphere is charming, with lots of thoughtful details like lavender plants and little lavender sachets, which added a very personal and authentic touch. You can really feel the love that goes into this place. Overall, a very positive surprise that truly impressed us. A calm, welcoming place with great food and a wonderful setting – highly recommended.

Delicious breakfast and hearty and and wholesome dinner. Friendly staff, thank you Emmie and Petro. Beautiful lavender and river breezes, and garden to relax. Comfortable bed. Pop out to Viljoensdrift for a river cruise in Roberston, and the tastiest seafood platter. Support local, and visit BynBonnievale Handelshuis in the main road and leave with a treasure or 2.

Lack of housekeeping and room uncleaned after a full day out and a courteous request the morning. Worn and weathered towels.

Liebevoll gepflegte Gartenanlage und duftendes Lavendelfeld. Sehr erholsam!

De omgeving is prachtig en de geur van lavendel brengt rust.

The location, the staff and the tranquility. I have no complaints other than I wish we stayed longer.
