Having to use bathroom separate from the room. Room to small with no headboard, dressing table and side board. Parking not enough, someone parking behind. (not safe for emergencies) Noisy floor. Woken up 01:30hrs by other guest busy walking up and down the corridor. (Sounded like wooden floor) Room looked liked a child had been asked to make way for visitors.

We had such a warm welcome and our hosts went the extra mile for us during our stay. The property is set within beautiful gardens with an ocean view. Our room had a roofed terrace with sunloungers and patio chairs right outside. The room was a good size, with plenty of storage space plus a fridge. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Durban North Broadway, where there are a number of shops, restaurants and banks. We felt safe walking there in the daytime and took Ubers or ordered Uber Eats after dark. The property itself has electric fencing, with remote control gate, making it very secure. We were invited to join the owners at breakfast on our last day and wish we could have stayed to chat longer as they are both really interesting people and such wonderful hosts.

We did try to connect our phones to the TV one night, during a storm but we couldn't make it play video, only audio. Nevermind as the storm turned out to be much more interesting to watch as it rolled in off the ocean.

Garden and seaview

Location is what we were looking for. Host were friendly and always tried to make us comfortable. Cleaning of rooms were spot on.

Sound proofing of room is Poor and Parking awkward when more than 2 vehicle's are onsite

The owners were very kind and welcoming . I would like to spend my december holidays there. The place is very safe
