My stay was a disaster before it even began. When I entered the room, i was shocked to find it was in an unacceptable state. The bed linen was stained and, to my disgust, had ants crawling on it. Furthermore, the area around the bed was littered with dead bugs, which suggests a pest problem that was poorly handled right before our check-in. I immediately raised these serious concerns with the hosts, expecting them to be helpful. Instead, the situation escalated. They became very defensive and agitated, refusing to acknowledge the problems we showed them. They went so far as to accuse me, their guest, of making false accusations in a desperate attempt to prevent us from cancelling. Their behaviour was completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Given the lack of basic hygiene and the aggressive response from the management, I felt I had no choice but to leave. I have photographic proof of all the issues mentioned. I strongly advise other travellers to avoid this property.

No A/C in the room. The mattress on the bed was hard and I slept uncomfortable. The braai facilities a bit far from rooms and steep to get to braai area from rooms.

Location

Some furniture in our unit need replacement or repairs. Legs on table loose. Iron in unit old and burnt causing burn mark on clothes.

The lodge is in a very quiet area and safe.

Not much except for the fact there are no shops closer by also that we could hear people talking from the other room

The place was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I really loved the location. It was peaceful, convenient, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The walls were quite thin, so you could hear noise from nearby room.
